On July 10th, Intraware's Terry Divelbliss, senior product manager of Asset Management and Chip Galusha, systems engineer for Asset Management will discuss the importance of "Planning and Implementing a Successful IT Asset Management Program" in a one-day educational session. The session will be broken out into the following sections:

Chip Galusha will also be conducting a conference session highlighting the "Critical Components of Asset Management" on July 11th from 8:25 a.m.-9:15 a.m. This session will present real-world examples for implementing IT asset management methodologies and how these initiatives can reduce IT expenditures by 5-35% of an organization's IT budget in the first year of implementation. Also addressed will be the challenges faced in implementing an asset management program, the critical components that should be included, how they work together, and limitations of asset management tools such as spreadsheets and applications developed in-house.
