), announced the sales launch of the LIVAR LIVAR Laser Illuminated Viewing and Ranging (R) Model 400 Long-Range Surveillance Camera Developer Kit, available through Intevac-Sales. The kit is intended for OEMs and contractors seeking to develop advanced long-range night surveillance and target identification solutions for homeland security and military force protection.

The LIVAR Model 400 Developer Kit includes Intevac's COTS (commercial off-the-shelf) advanced Model 400 camera and a comprehensive accessory package. Buyers can simply open the box, assemble the kit, and start capturing images and developing their application. By including everything needed to generate high-quality images, the new LIVAR Model 400 kit is designed to reduce application development time.
