) - Online market researcher Interwired announced on January 31 the results of its latest survey on flower purchasing habits.

The company surveyed 3,809 people (male 22% and female 78%) via its DIMSDRIVE Internet Internet

Of those who have bought flowers in the past year, 77.9% said that they purchased at flower shops, 29.8% at supermarkets, and 20.1% from online flower shops.

When asked about the benefits of buying from online flower shops, 73.9% mentioned convenience; they do not need to go to a shop. In addition, 62.3% said that they can easily select flowers according to according to
