Combined Solution Provides on Demand Sales, Distribution, and Transportation Management

RALEIGH, N.C. -- Intervolve, Inc., the pioneer in providing on demand supply chain software using web and mobile technologies, today announced it has integrated Route Accounting System with Roadnet([R]) Transportation Suite from UPS Logistics Technologies. The combined offering provides beverage distributors with seamless, on demand sales, distribution, and transportation management to optimize route running and save costs.

Roadnet Transportation Suite provides transportation management capabilities that increase the overall efficiency of distribution companies. It includes three transportation optimization applications to optimize and balance delivery, profitability and customer service through territory and route efficiencies. Territory Planner is a planning tool that analyzes historical transportation information to create and balance territories and routes. Intervolve's Route Accounting System combines sales order management, inventory management, financial accounting, route reconciliations, and route maintenance into a single, real-time, enterprise-wide application to increase operational efficiencies for beverage distributors. It provides real-time transaction based inventory management across all warehouse locations, enables tighter inventory control, and speeds up route reconciliations. With the new integration to Roadnet Transportation Suite, beverage distributors gain a comprehensive solution that optimizes across sales, warehouse, and delivery functions.
