Intervening in the European city.


The AR continues its annual international conferences on the theme of the European city with one on intervention: how to make new buildings among old ones; how to fit new uses into existing buildings. A star studded cast of speakers will include Gunther Domenig, Chris Wilkinson Chris Wilkinson (born January 5, 1970 in Southampton) is a former tennis player from England, who turned professional in 1989. He represented Great Britain at the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona, where he was defeated in the first round by Morocco's Younes El Aynaoui. , Francine Houben of Mecanoo, Massimiliano Fuksas Massimiliano Fuksas is an Italian architect, born in Rome in 1944. He received his degree in Architecture from the La Sapienza University in 1969 in Rome, where he opened his first office. Subsequent offices were opened in Paris (1989) and Vienna (1993). , Peter Cook and Ole Wiig. The date is 16 March, at the RIBA RIBA Royal Institute of British Architects  in London.
