Interstate practice requirements.


Since requirements for tax professionals vary from state to state, CPAs with clients located in another state need to know that state's rules.

In some instances, tax professionals may be required to register with other state boards state boards Examinations administered by a US state board of medical examiners to license a physician in a particular state; these examinations play an ever-decreasing role in state medical licensure, as these bodies now rely on standardized national examinations  of accountancy just to file a single tax return. Before you file that return, it's it's
