Interpath Communications, the first network-based Application Service Provider (ASP), and Vignette Corp. (Nasdaq:VIGN) today announced the addition of Vignette StoryServer(TM) 4 software to Interpath's growing family of Virtual Private Applications (VPAs).

Interpath is the first application service provider to offer Vignette StoryServer 4's capabilities for building and managing online relationships as well as advanced site content management. The agreement will enhance Interpath's VPA offerings with advanced Web site content management and delivery; personalized marketing and targeted marketing; portal sites; and e-Relationships solutions. Delivered from Interpath's state-of-the-art operations center, StoryServer 4 provides a flexible and effective tool for managing Internet-based information resources and business relationships.

Interpath will offer application consulting services, rapid application implementation services, packaged Web solutions and robust, monitored hosting services. These services and the unique licensing arrangement for the StoryServer product will allow Interpath's customers to utilize the power of StoryServer 4 in an extremely cost effective manner.

Available immediately, Interpath customers can purchase StoryServer as a stand-alone product or bundled with other offerings from Interpath's family of VPAs.
