Internet erodes publisher's subscriber base.A 33-year subscriber to The Newsletter on Newsletters recently told us his story on the condition that we do not reveal his name, his newsletter's name, or the market he serves. He began his newsletter right out of graduate school and built its subscriber base to encompass 90 percent of his market. But the information he provides is now available on the internet for free and faster, so his subscriptions have plummeted to the point where he's he's 1.
