Internet security is the process of protecting data and privacy of devices connected to internet from information robbery, hacking, malware infection and unwanted software.
Systems, Inc. have introduced the Proventia Network Mail Security System, the company's first security appliance Security appliances protect computer networks from unwanted data traffic, intruders, email spam, enforce policies, and may also be used to create and manage VPNs. There are a number of types of security appliances.  dedicated solely to protecting an organisation's messaging infrastructure. The appliance inspects the content of each e-mail that enters an organisation at multiple levels, ensuring 98 per cent effectiveness in spam blocking. It claims to be the only solution on the market that includes the unique Virus Prevention System technology from ISS, which assesses the behaviour of network traffic. While it is widely estimated that 80 to 90 per cent of the world's incoming e-mail traffic is spam, companies are recognising that anti-spam technology alone is not enough to prevent their messaging infrastructures from being shut down by attackers, used to infiltrate other parts of the network or even harvested for users personal information.
