What: Launch of the Consumer Spyware Initiative (CSI)
Spyware is rapidly becoming one of the most harmful
Internet hazards consumers face, potentially surpassing
viruses as Internet users' number one online threat. And
unlike viruses, consumers have limited knowledge about how
to identify and combat spyware.
To better arm consumers in the battle against spyware, the
Internet Education Foundation (IEF) and Dell, Inc. have
developed the Consumer Spyware Initiative (CSI).
