International Trademark Association Launches Redesigned Website.

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 16, 2003

) has officially launched the redesign of its website, www.inta.org. The goals of the redesign process are to better define and express the Association's brand identity, to incorporate current best practices in technology and usability, and provide a website equal or superior to that of any peer institution.

Some of the enhancements to the site include an easy-to-read navigation bar A set of buttons or graphic images typically in a row or column used as a central point that link you to major topic sections on a Web site. If the navigation bar is a single graphic image with multiple selections, it is known as an imagemap. See imagemap. , a search engine, a section on the homepage that alerts visitors about new information on the site, more relevant and practical online content, frequently asked questions and a glossary.

-- 125th Annual Meeting Review

INTA recently celebrated its 125th Anniversary with its first Annual Meeting held outside North America, in Amsterdam, Netherlands. The Meeting featured four days packed with educational sessions, compelling presentations and entertaining social events, and attracted a record number of attendees from the European Union European Union (EU), name given since the ratification (Nov., 1993) of the Treaty of European Union, or Maastricht Treaty, to the

The redesign of the website began in August 2002 and spanned ten months of work by more than 100 members and staff who represented INTA's community across 170 countries.
