International Museum of Women Selects Local Women Architects for Pier 26 Renovation.Entertainment Editors/News Editors/Education Writers SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 27, 2003 The San Francisco-based architectural team of Leddy Maytum Stacy Architects in association with Ai (LMSA LMSA Logistics Management Supportability Analysis LMSA Linear Multivariate Statistical Analysis LMSA Lincoln Middle School of the Arts (Milwaukee, WI) + Ai) has been selected to design the future home of the International Museum of Women (IMOW IMOW International Museum of Women (San Francisco, California) IMOW International Mower of Weeds IMOW In My Own World ) on Pier 26. The LMSA + Ai team, led by Marsha Maytum, FAIA FAIA Florida Association of Insurance Agents FAIA Food Additives and Ingredients Association (Kent, UK) FAIA Fellow, American Institute of Architects (honorary position) , and Allison Williams, FAIA, was selected for their design and technical expertise, collaborative approach and commitment to IMOW's mission to build a unique and exciting facility that inspires global change in women's lives. IMOW signed an Exclusive Right to Negotiate (ERN) agreement with the Port Commission in June 2003 to renovate the historic warehouse at Pier 26 into a 150,000-square-foot facility.
