The underground adit at Daping which is over 1,000m in length, 125m deep and is located in the center of the 720 sq km Xuefeng property has been completed under the current phase of work. A two phase drill program consisting of up to 30 holes for a total of 9150m of drilling has been proposed primarily at Chanziping with limited drilling at Daping 7 km to the east of Chanziping. The total cost of this two phase program is approximately $1,200,000 Cdn and phase I will take about eight months to complete at an approximate cost of $700,000 Cdn. Chanziping is reported to contain 656,000 ozs Au of inferred resources by Hunan Provincial authorities. These "resources" are situated in three principal northwest trending brittle shear zones composed of sericite-clay schist schist (shĭst), metamorphic rock having a foliated, or plated, structure called schistosity in which the component flaky minerals are visible to the naked eye. with variable amounts of quartz and sulphides. These three zones have been traced along strike for 520m, 440m and 340m respectively and gold mineralization is known to extend at least 300m in depth. Mineralization exploited historically at Chanziping ranges from 0.5m to 5m wide and is locally up to 20m wide in parts of zone 3. IKI will now pursue funding for the above 2005 proposed work program. The above assay results from Daping are from Brigade 407's laboratory using AAS method with a majority of samples checked by fire assay by Swastika Laboratories of Kirkland Lake, Ontario Kirkland Lake is a town located in Timiskaming District in northeastern Ontario, Canada.
