DENVER -- International Gold Resources, Inc. (Pink Sheets:IGRU), announced today that the Company has filed a timely application with the governing gov·ern

1. To make and administer the public policy and affairs of; exercise sovereign authority in.

 Brazilian authorities for the extension of its permits for the Cupixi Claim block area in Amapa State, Brazil. The application was accompanied by supporting documentation prepared by Tobias Geotec, IGR's consulting geologist in Brazil. The work completed in support of the application has confirmed a large manganese manganese (măng`gənēs, măn`–) [Lat.,=magnet], metallic chemical element; symbol Mn; at. no. 25; at. wt. 54.938; m.p. about 1,244°C;; b.p. about 1,962°C;; sp. gr. 7.2 to 7.  anomaly Abnormality or deviation.
