International Commission Processing Holocaust Claims.


The International Commission of Holocaust Holocaust (hŏl`əkôst', hō`lə–), name given to the period of persecution and extermination of European Jews by Nazi Germany.  Claims has begun processing claims.

Chairman Lawrence Eagleburger said the claims process involves four components: establishing a central source for the investigation into the payment of claims; assisting Holocaust victims While victims of the Holocaust were primarily Jews, the Nazis also persecuted and often killed millions of members of other groups they considered inferior, undesirable or dangerous.  and heirs in filing claims; paying the claims; and posting lists of known policyholders on the commission's Web site, www.icheic.org.

The commission and its member companies, Germany's Allianz AG Holding, France's Axa, Italy's Assicurazioni Generali Assicurazioni Generali S.P.A. is the largest insurance company of Italy.[1] It is headquartered in Trieste.

They also are shouldering the costs of running the claims administration.
