International Biometric Group and COMDEX/Spring have teamed up to present Biometropolis(TM), the state-of-the-art industry event for biometric technologies. Biometropolis will be a major feature of the COMDEX/Spring 2000 conference to be held April 17-20 at Chicago's McCormick Place Coordinates:

That's why we're building on last year's overwhelming success to establish Biometropolis as a major program at COMDEX/Spring 2000."

The program's momentum began last year, when COMDEX/Spring attendees had the opportunity to see exhibitions from the leading biometric vendors, including NEC (NEC Corporation, Tokyo, www.nec.com, www.necus.com) An electronics conglomerate known in the U.S. for its monitors. In Japan, it had the lion's share of the PC market until the late 1990s (see PC 98).
