Internap Network Services Corporation (AMEX: IIP), the leading provider of performance-based routing technology over the Internet, announced today that the company has entered into an alliance with TeleBermuda International Limited (TBI), for the delivery of high-performance Internet service for TBI's customers in Bermuda.

TBI is an established international telecommunications carrier that provides long distance voice, data, Internet and collocation hosting services in Bermuda.

Under terms of the agreement, Internap will provide high-bandwidth connections to TBI capable of supporting a variety of transmission speeds. The network connections will enhance TBI's deployment of a wide variety of voice and Internet-based services, including voice over IP (VoIP), virtual private networks (VPNs) and other IP based service applications.

The two companies outlined future plans to jointly develop new products and services to target TeleBermuda's growing customer base. In addition, they noted the potential to deliver services for TeleCayman Ltd., a newly established telecommunications provider in the Cayman Islands backed by TBI's owners. TeleCayman is one of eight telecommunications companies to be granted licenses last year as the government of the Cayman Islands ended a long-standing monopoly of services.
