CAMARILLO, Calif. -- Interlink Electronics Inc., (Pink Sheets:LINK), a global leader in the design, development and manufacture of human interface products and technologies, has created a custom MicroNav(TM) Ring user interface to provide media content control for LG's new LG550 mobile phone. The integration of the MicroNav Ring into the LG design, which illustrates the ongoing trend towards thinner, more stylized handsets, delivers the quick menu search and one-touch item selection that consumers need to get instant access to stored digital music.

LG, a leader in consumer electronics and mobile communications products and the fastest growing mobile phone brand in North America, announced the LG550 at last month's CTIA Wireless 2006 expo in Las Vegas. A cool, thin mobile phone that looks, feels and plays music like a portable stereo, the LG550 plays MP3s from a MicroSD removable disk, allowing consumers to download and play their favorite full-length tunes right on the phone. Audio can be transmitted to car stereo or other FM receivers via the handset's Bluetooth wireless technology. Other features include an integrated camcorder/1.3 MP CMOS camera, and 64 MB of MicroSD (TransFlash) external memory. The LG550's touch wheel, automatic speech recognition and speakerphone make it fun and easy to use.
