Interleaf appoints Stanley C. Douglas to new executive management position.


WALTHAM, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 16, 1996--Interleaf, Inc. (NASDAQ NASDAQ

:LEAF) today announced the appointment of Stanley C. Douglas as senior vice president of software operations.

In this newly created position, he will be responsible for product management, engineering, maintenance, documentation and translation, and customer support. Douglas, who will be a member of Interleaf's executive board, will report directly to President and CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board.  Ed Koepfler.

Douglas has over 20 years of diversified management and systems experience helping firms establish their information technology direction. He has led major organizational and systems efforts at Sprint, Memorex, US Leasing, Southern Pacific Company and Kettering Medical Center Kettering Medical Center (KMC) is located in Kettering, Ohio, United States. Its network of area facilities, known as Kettering Health Network, also includes Grandview Hospital (an osteopathic teaching hospital) located in Dayton; Sycamore Hospital, in the southern suburb of . Prior to joining Interleaf, Douglas was president and CIO CIO: see American Federation of Labor and Congress of Industrial Organizations.
