Interior architecture firm adds retail division.


New York-based interior architecture firm, MKDA MKDA Mortal Kombat Deadly Alliance (game) , announced that it has added a brand-new retail division to its firm, bringing the company back to the roots Back to the roots, also called Spurensuche, is a program by the Republic of Austria's well established exchange-programm. Whereby a group of 15 young Israelis, who have Austrian family roots, are invited to Austria and together with 15 young local Austrians do research about their  of its founder, Milo Milo, athlete of ancient Greece

 Kleinberg, who had in the sixties designed 90% of the showrooms at 1411 Broadway, The Garment Center.

 Michael Kleinberg, president of MKDA, the firm has hired senior designer Kaoru Yamamoto to head the retail division, which will offer a broad array of retail and showroom interior design services.

"We look forward to applying our expertise in corporate interior design, gained by decades of working with some of the City's top businesses, brokers and landlords, to the creation of exceptional retail environments," said Kleinberg, whose firm has already created high-profile retail space for Shanghai Tang and Missoni, among others.

Yamamoto brings to MKDA an esteemed international career in retail interior architectural design, visual merchandising, graphic design and retail signage. Previously, he was a freelance creative consultant, during which time he produced interior and exterior designs for showrooms, department stores, specialty stores and shopping centers. His interior work included layouts and merchandise plans.

Prior to that, Yamamoto had been creative design director at CDI CDI compact disc interactive: a system for storing a mix of software, data, audio, and compressed video for interactive use under processor control  Group, Design Director at CLDA CLDA California Lyme Disease Association , Inc.; Senior Designer at Pavlik Design Team; and Project Designer at Walker Group/CNI. Notably, Yamamoto won the industry's ISP/VM+SD award for his work with Texaco International and for his work with El Palacio de Hererro.

Yamamoto holds a degree in Visual Merchandising and Exhibit Design from The Fashion Institute of Technology. "Yamamoto will no doubt make an excellent addition to the experienced and talented staff of architects and designers we employ at MKDA," said Kleinberg. "We expect his many years of solid expertise in retail to help MKDA establish itself as not only experts in landlord and corporate facilities planning and design, but also as one of New York New York, state, United States
New York, Middle Atlantic state of the United States. It is bordered by Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and the Atlantic Ocean (E), New Jersey and Pennsylvania (S), Lakes Erie and Ontario and the Canadian province of
 City's top-notch retail space planning and design firms."
