Yamamoto brings to MKDA an esteemed international career in retail interior architectural design, visual merchandising, graphic design and retail signage. Previously, he was a freelance creative consultant, during which time he produced interior and exterior designs for showrooms, department stores, specialty stores and shopping centers. His interior work included layouts and merchandise plans. Prior to that, Yamamoto had been creative design director at CDI CDI compact disc interactive: a system for storing a mix of software, data, audio, and compressed video for interactive use under processor control Group, Design Director at CLDA CLDA California Lyme Disease Association , Inc.; Senior Designer at Pavlik Design Team; and Project Designer at Walker Group/CNI. Notably, Yamamoto won the industry's ISP/VM+SD award for his work with Texaco International and for his work with El Palacio de Hererro. Yamamoto holds a degree in Visual Merchandising and Exhibit Design from The Fashion Institute of Technology. "Yamamoto will no doubt make an excellent addition to the experienced and talented staff of architects and designers we employ at MKDA," said Kleinberg. "We expect his many years of solid expertise in retail to help MKDA establish itself as not only experts in landlord and corporate facilities planning and design, but also as one of New York New York, state, United States New York, Middle Atlantic state of the United States.
