Intergraph receives $7.7 million in orders on Naval Sea Systems Command CAD-2 contract.


Intergraph Solutions Group, a division of Intergraph Corporation (Nasdaq:INGR), announced recently that it received more than $7.7 million in orders for services, hardware and software this week on the U.S. Naval Sea Systems Command The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) is the largest of the U.S. Navy's five "systems commands," or materiel organizations. NAVSEA consists of four shipyards, eight "warfare centers" (two undersea and six surface), four major shipbuilding locations and the NAVSEA headquarters,  CAD-2 contract. This includes more than $5.2 million for Intergraph TD-R rugged hardware and integration services for the U.S. Navy Naval Ship A naval ship is a ship (or sometimes boat, depending on classification) used for combat purposes, commonly by a navy. Naval ships are differentiated from civilian ships by construction and purpose.  Systems Engineering Station (NAVSSES NAVSSES Naval Ship Systems Engineering Station ). The services primarily involve the integration of digital video surveillance into the Navy's condition assessment and damage control systems.

Intergraph continues to support NAVSSES with the Smart Ship program by designing, manufacturing and integrating rugged Intel-based workstations that operate in harsh conditions or meet military and national electronics standards, such as MIL-STD-901D near explosives survivability sur·viv·a·ble

. Intergraph also integrates and delivers specialized software/hardware systems for damage assessment, system control, video surveillance and bridge consoles. A major ongoing effort includes integration of real-time, object-based video surveillance into damage control to automate tasks such as determining the contents of a space or type and extent of damage.
