Intergraph Corporation (Nasdaq:INGR) today announced the latest release of G/Technology software, version 9.0. Intergraph Utilities & Communications (U&C) will be demonstrating the latest release of its open, scalable G/Technology software in Booth 1600 at the DistribuTECH Conference & Exhibition this week. G/Technology, the result of the company's commitment to build and maintain industry-specific, commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) solutions, delivers an integrated asset-management system that optimizes operational efficiency and reduces the cost of designing, operating, and maintaining a service delivery network.

The new, expanded functionality of version 9.0 incorporates powerful design tools, which are based on input from Intergraph's diverse, international customer base. Version 9.0 debuts with a suite of adjunct products, such as G/NetExport Server, which exports data from an Oracle data warehouse into data formats of third-party applications, including MicroStation DGN format; AutoCAD DWG and DXF formats; and ESRI shape files.

The applications' precise interaction with Oracle and their ability to minimize network traffic provide companies with a highly scalable solution that dramatically reduces database processing and wait times in multi-user environments.
