Intergraph Software Solutions adds Batch Services to its Windows NT Arsenal; announces Special Pricing for its NFS, X Server Interoperability Products.


LAS VEGAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 14, 1994--Intergraph Software Solutions (Huntsville, Ala.) is introducing Batch Services for Windows NT (Windows New Technology) A 32-bit operating system from Microsoft for Intel x86 CPUs. NT is the core technology in Windows 2000 and Windows XP (see Windows). Available in separate client and server versions, it includes built-in networking and preemptive multitasking.  and announcing special pricing for its recently introduced interoperability products -- PC-NFS, Diskshare and eXalt.

Batch Services for Windows NT enables users to submit time consuming, repetitive tasks into the background of a network or local NT system and go on to other tasks, or exit the session, while the batch job Same as batch program.  executes. Batch Services notifies the user once the job is complete.

Batch Services is a 32-bit, multi-threaded application that supports multiple network configurations while ensuring data and network security. Multi-user Pricing for eXalt

Intergraph's X server for Windows NT, eXalt, is now available in multi-user discount package. Customers may purchase a five-user package for $2,100, a 10-user package for $4,000, a 25-user package for $8,000, a 100-user package for $22,500 or a 500-user package for $100,000. eXalt gives the user access to X Window applications from a Windows NT seat using native X Window managers such as twm, OpenLook, OSF See Open Group.
