Prizes Given, Entries Displayed at Process & Power 2001

International Conference

On behalf of the Process and Power Client Community, the Process & Building Solutions division of Intergraph Corporation (Nasdaq: INGR) presented more than $4000 (U.S.) in cash prizes to the creators of winning entries in the Golden Valve Awards computer graphics competition. Gerhard Sallinger, executive vice president, Sales & Marketing, Process & Building Solutions, introduced the winners and distributed the awards at a ceremony held here today as the Process & Power 2001 International conference concluded.

Showcasing Customer Expertise

The Golden Valve competition showcases the expertise of customers using Intergraph Process & Building Solutions software including SmartPlant(R) Review and PDS (1) (Processor Direct Slot) A single expansion slot on certain, early Macintosh models that was used to connect high-speed peripherals as well as additional CPUs. Providing a channel directly to the CPU, the PDS coexisted with NuBus slots on some models. (TM). Award winners receive international recognition for entries, which are often published in industry magazines and appear in the division's marketing materials and on its Web site. High-resolution, print quality images of the winning entries are available to editors and art directors of industry and CAD/CAM/CAE print and Web publications. Winning entries appear on the www.intergraph.com/pbs/library/gv2001 Web site.

Receiving $150 for third place was Hoa Yong Kim, Hyundai Heavy Industries - Offshore Division, Korea, for "Soroosh and Nowrooz Oil Fields This list of oil fields includes major fields of the past and present. The list is incomplete; there are more than 40,000 oil and gas fields of all sizes in the world[1].  SWP-1."

A panel of experts judged each entry on a variety of criteria, such as design and technique; technical use of software and system capabilities; innovative and imaginative use of Process & Building Solutions software; and aesthetic screen display or plot of the finished art including composition, layout and use of color not of the white race; - commonly meaning, esp. in the United States, of negro blood, pure or mixed.

Prizes Awarded at Process & Power International Conference

Intergraph Process & Building Solutions displayed the winning entries and announced the contest winners at Process & Power 2001 International, which ends today at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort Disney's Coronado Springs Resort is a resort hotel at the Walt Disney World Resort that opened on August 1, 1997. This resort reveals its Southwestern U.S.-Mexican theme in such as a tiled stucco lobby and a pyramid with water tumbling down it that appears to have created the Mayan . Some 500 customers, prospects, exhibitors and others from around the world participated in the event. The inaugural conference included management track and technical sessions as well as keynote and plenary addresses, exhibits, special events and technology previews of Process & Building Solutions software.
