Intergraph Honors Industry and Government Leaders for Product Innovation, Partnership, and Proven Results With New Icon Award.


Six US and international organizations receive inaugural recognition

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. -- Intergraph Corporation recognized six industry and government leaders with its inaugural Icon Award, the company's highest customer distinction for product innovation, partnership, and proven results.

The Icon Awards were announced today at Intergraph 2007, the global spatial information management (SIM) provider's international user conference in Nashville. The Icon Award honors those companies and organizations that have fully deployed and leveraged Intergraph software in a visionary manner with proven and tangible results that have significantly contributed to their business or industry.

The 2007 Icon Award winners are: ASTRID ASTRID Cardiology A clinical trial–Atrial Sensing Trial to prevent Inappropriate Detections , a Brussels-based government initiative for nationwide emergency response; Chematur Engineering AB, Corp., a Swedish chemical engineering firm; ETSA Utilities ETSA Utilities is the operator of the South Australian electricity distribution network.

This involves the delivery of electricity from the high voltage transmission network connection points through a network of about 85,000 kilometres of powerlines, to over 782,000
