The first round Individual results of the Photojournalism Division Interclub Slide competition are as follows: 1st: Freestyle by Berndt Lindstaedt, IIWE Germany, 13 points; 2nd: Number 5 by Josef Graf, IIWF, 12 pts; 3rd: Dangerous Landing by C.W. Biedel, f:67 Camera Club, 12 pts; Honorable Mention (HM): Eat My Dirt, by Jackie Bartels, Oklahoma Camera Club, 12 pts; HM: Jon Kellner by Josef Graf, IIWE 11pts; HM: Balloons and Reflections by Barbara Soghigian, Greater Lynn Photo Assoc, 11 pts; HM:Harvard-Owens by Andrew Katsampes, Greater Lynn, 11 pts; HM: Red Jet Skier by Annette Chiu, Pornona Valley Camera Club, 11 pts: HM: Baseball Hit no. 1 by John Fuller, Greater Lynn, 11pts; HM:Third Leg Pass: 4x100 by Diane Racey, Pomona Valley, 11pts.

The judging club was the Dallas Camera Club, so they were not able to enter slides. The judges were Ralph Pyke, Pat Dawson, and Cissy Dawson. The assistant was Barbara Pyke. It is encouraging to see two new clubs competing this year: f:67
