The InterWise Integration Toolkit helps to minimize such issues with an application programming interface (API (Application Programming Interface) A language and message format used by an application program to communicate with the operating system or some other control program such as a database management system (DBMS) or communications protocol. ) designed to chart the path for seamless interoperability The capability of two or more hardware devices or two or more software routines to work harmoniously together. Leading LMS vendors such as Learnframe, and Pathlore are joining KnowledgePlanet, Docent and Saba in an effort to integrate InterWise's live eLearning infrastructure into their LMS software.

"The InterWise Integration Toolkit is another example of how InterWise is partnering to expand access to eLearning," said Zvi Frank, InterWise president and co-founder. "Relationships with LMS leaders such as Pathlore, Learnframe, Inc., and KnowledgePlanet are creating a complete suite of eLearning capabilities."

The InterWise Integration Toolkit synthesizes the InterWise Millennium software with the distinct interfaces of Pathlore, Learnframe and KnowledgePlanet through the transfer of user, course and registration data from the LMS to the InterWise Campus. "The ability to introduce InterWise Millennium easily into the Learnframe environment will provide Learnframe users with access to live eLearning, while preserving the consistent experience of working with our learning management software," said Mike Memmott, Sr., chief executive officer of Learnframe.

A further purpose of the toolkit is to spur the use of eLearning in the business-to-business (B2B (Business to Business) Refers to one business communicating with or selling to another. See B2B e-commerce, B2C and B2G.

The toolkit's API offers a direct link to eBusiness Web sites and other corporate systems, enabling end users to remain within their company's learning portal while registering and participating in InterWise-powered live and on-demand eLearning sessions. - Define and control InterWise Millennium Campus contents from within the LMS.

- Establish two-way data transfer between the InterWise Millennium Campus and
LMS applications.

- Export InterWise Millennium usage data for billing and tracking purposes.
