InterWeb Signs Launches TonicsandTeas.com.

Houston InterWeb Design (OTCBB:HITD), today launched phase one of its traditional Chinese Medicine Portal http://www.TonicsandTeas.com. In conjunction with China's State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), the e-commerce site will initially offer 140 products for 35 common ailments.

InterWeb also announced today that it has signed an agreement with Elixir(TM) Tonics and Teas to market the Elixir(TM) line of products on the new TCM portal.

By teaming up with InterWeb, the Chinese government wants to give its Traditional Chinese Medicine broader access to international markets. In this massive undertaking, InterWeb is responsible for the Internet technology and marketing expertise, and the Chinese government will provide access to its vast databases of information, existing relationships with manufacturers as well as thousands of years old know-how in applying these remedies to every day medical conditions.

The new site -- http://www.TonicsandTeas.com -- is intended to provide news, content and e-commerce products for Traditional Chinese Medicine. The portal will offer Elixir(TM) brand products, consisting of a wide variety of teas, herbs and tonics, which have been used to remedy 35 common ailments. TonicsandTeas.com shall also provide the latest herbal remedy news, as well as historical perspectives and development of traditional Chinese medicine.

China has over 2,600 Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) hospitals, with over 1,000 of those focusing on TCM-related research. There are also 28 TCM medical unions and over 2,000 factories producing TCM pharmaceuticals -- many of which have recently been introduced in the West as herbal formulas and remedies, but used in China for treating various ailments for over 5,000 years.

Phase two of the portal will include launching a large searchable database of information on TCM and an area for experts to exchange research and findings. Phase three will incorporate the production, manufacturing and distribution of large quantities of TCM herbs, remedies and pharmaceuticals.
