InterContinental Hotels Group PLC (LSE: IHG), a UK-based owner, manager and franchisor of hotels and resorts, has offered loyalty points to Priority Club members who become Topguest application members.

Topguest is a new platform that offers travellers loyalty points and rewards for check-ins at a selection of location-based-services (LBS) applications, including Foursquare, Twitter, Gowalla, Yelp, Loopt and Google Latitude. The company has partnered with Topguest and has offered loyalty points with each check-in at any of its properties worldwide.

Lincoln Barrett, the company vice president, guest marketing and alliances, said, 'Partnering with Topguest allows us to reward our members with Priority Club points each time they virtually check-in at an IHG hotel, whether it's for a good night's sleep, or for a coffee in the hotel's restaurant. We think it has the potential to further enhance loyalty with current and future guests.'
