Instead, the workshop committee selects 12 vendors to teach one hour workshops on a specific topic. Only vendors with demonstrated expertise in a subject area are invited. The founders chose to keep the event very casual to set a comfortable learning environment. The Winter Workshop has twice doubled its attendance and promises to attract more than the 150 that attended the event last January.
