Agerton noted that BellSouth will promote NumberPlus service through a nine-week radio and print advertising campaign in the Macon area.

Using BellSouth NumberPlus, a customer dials 555-LOOK and either speaks or dials in the 10-digit phone number. The application takes the number to a database including information for all 50 states and retrieves the name and address and delivers the information to the caller using a computer-generated text-to-speech voice.
