IntellaSys Names Perry Nelson Vice President - North America Sales.

CUPERTINO, Calif. -- IntellaSys today confirmed that Perry Nelson has joined the company as Vice President - North America Sales, reporting to Chet Brown, President and CEO. Nelson brings more than 16 years of sales experience to his new post including four years as US Sales Manager for Indigita just prior to its acquisition by The TPL Group in May 2006.

"Perry's high energy combined with his strong sales background and knowledge of consumer electronics markets give him solid credentials to lead the expanding sales of our SEAforth[TM], Indigita[R] and OnSpec[TM] product brands throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico," said Brown. "The relationships he established with OEMs and contract manufacturers, especially during his Indigita tenure, are already proving to be valuable assets for our company."

During Nelson's years with Indigita, he collaborated directly with major OEMs to formulate and validate the roadmaps for chip solutions targeting High Definition Video applications as he established and led a US network of both direct and representative sales personnel. Prior to this he held senior sales positions with How2TV Inc., where he handled national accounts for the firm's E-CRM and E-Application software solutions, and at Merisel Inc., where he logged 16 consecutive months of exceeding his territory sales goals in the OEM channel. A graduate of the US Coast Guard Engineering Machinery School, Nelson has also completed studies at Long Beach City College.
