Intell-A-Check, Corp. today announced that its electronic check processing services are being donated to the National Organization for Victim Assistance (NOVA) to facilitate the acceptance and processing of contributions for its terrorist attack victim services.

Intell-A-Check's electronic check writing application enables NOVA to accept check-based contributions directly through its call center or Web site operations. Contributions are handled through the Intell-A-Check data center, drawn from customers' accounts as a printed check and immediately processed for deposit.

Funds collected through NOVA are used to support a variety of Crisis Response Team (CRT) functions including helping local decision-makers identify all the groups at risk of experiencing trauma, training the local caregivers who are to reach out to those groups after the CRT has departed and leading group crisis intervention sessions to show how those private sessions can help victims start to cope with their distress. NOVA also provides direct assistance to victims and communities through its toll-free 24-hour call center.
