 Education and Workforce Development Award at A.I.M.'s 89th Annual Meeting on April 30th at the Newton Marriott Hotel.

Intel was selected to receive the Gould Award based upon the firm's efforts to build and support an "engineering ecosystem" to help to prepare more students to meet college and industry requirements and thereby qualify to fill engineering and technical development positions in the future.

Examples of Intel's contributions include supporting several programs at Quinsigamond Community College Quinsigamond Community College (colloq: QCC, Quinsig) is a public, two-year academic institution located in Worcester, Massachusetts. In 2000, the award was named for John Gould, upon his retirement as President and CEO of A.I.M., to recognize his many contributions to improve the quality of public education and workforce training activities in Massachusetts.
