Intel's Macroprocessing campaign marks an important year for Intel as the company introduces a record number of products for the server market segment, including the new Intel(R) Xeon(TM) and Intel(R) Itanium(TM) processors. These products will extend the Intel architecture to all server market segments, including the front, middle, and back-end tiers of today's e-Business data centers, as well as telecommunications applications, server appliances, and ultra-dense servers.

"We would like the Xeon and Itanium brand names to be as well known among CEOs, CIOs, and IT managers as the Pentium(R) brand name is among PC consumers," said Deborah Conrad, vice president of Intel's Business Marketing and Alliances Group.

The multi-million dollar campaign will comprise print, outdoor, and online advertising elements.
