Integrix and GSSC Ink Service Agreement; Agreement Provides On-Site Service for All Integrix-configured Systems.

Integrix Inc. announced today that it has finalized an agreement with Grumman Systems Support Corporation (GSSC), a unit of Logicon, a Northrop Grumman's company.

GSSC is a nationwide provider of information technology services, and will provide on-site warranty and post-warranty support for all Integrix configured IQstor(TM) storage systems, SPARC(R) and UltraSPARC(R)-based servers, and workstations.

Contracting with GSSC to provide on-site service will be a valuable resource for our customers that will help minimize downtime and provide a reliable source for standardized support," said Jason Lo, president and co-founder of Integrix.

"The on-site service from GSSC will be available to both end-users and resellers. This will allow them to offer standardized service to their customers who we know are running multi-platform environments."

The contract covers Integrix's IQstor(TM) line of RAID and JBOD storage systems, the R1500, J1500 and R2000. In addition, the service will cover its SPARC(R) and UltraSPARC(R) rackmount servers and workstations, such as the RS450, RS10 and US10.

Integrix will continue to provide telephone technical support from the company's Newbury Park headquarters. After the technical support technician determines that the problem requires repair service, a GSSC technician will be dispatched to the customer site.

Three different service packages are available. The Standard package offers on-site service by the next business day; the Star + package offers same business day service (within four hours); and the Star ++ package offers service 24 hours a day, seven days per week. All RAID systems that are sold domestically will be automatically covered with on-site service. Additional service requirement upgrades may be purchased.
