PASADENA, Calif. -- Integrien Corporation today announced the appointment of Sam Balooch as Vice President of Operations and Kevin Strehlo as the company's Vice President of Marketing. Both executives will leverage decades of successful leadership within some of the technology industry's largest companies, including Hitachi Data Systems, Xceedium, Silicon Graphics, and Sun Microsystems.

Sam Balooch comes to Integrien after serving as Chief Executive Officer at Xceedium, where he led a successful transition of the company by identifying and developing new opportunities within Xceedium's core product offerings. The executive team he attracted to Xceedium was responsible for the expansive growth of that company's global customer base and new revenue opportunities. Mr. Balooch has a long-established career in operations and IT management at companies as diverse as Sun Microsystems, Silicon Graphics, Tornado Development, and Intuit, where he led the infrastructure team.

Kevin Strehlo comes to the Integrien management team from Hitachi Data Systems, where as Hitachi's Director of Communications, he served as the messaging lead for the brand redefinition, company repositioning and new category creation that played a pivotal role in the continued growth of the $2 billion Hitachi Ltd. subsidiary. Previously, in VP-level positions at technology companies including online storage leader Xdrive and business performance systems stalwart Callidus Software, and as Director for change management pioneer Continuus Software, Kevin helped define corporate identity and product strategies that fueled significant business growth. His earlier years in technology were marked by successful terms as editor-in-chief of Datamation Magazine, where he transitioned the oldest surviving computer magazine into a vital and award-winning proponent of emerging technologies, and as founding Editor for Corporate Computing, JavaPro, and client-server pioneer DBMS Magazine.
