The first six months of its five-year study of its AlgaeCal Bone Health Plan has been completed finding that among adults, women over 50 years of age had the greatest gain in bone density in spite of the expected decline for women of this age. Children/adolescents aged 8-18 years also increased their bone density above the expected improvements for these ages. The study was initiated in response to the U.S. Surgeon General's "call to action" to develop products to improve the bone health of people of all ages. New Studies.
