Chevin has announced the availability of its new integrated solution, TeVISTA Enterprise PLUS, which combines the existing TeVISTA Enterprise product with TeVISTA Performance Manager and 100 Software agents at a much reduced price. Enterprise PLUS includes intelligent Synthetic User probes, which can be located anywhere on the network to emulate user activity. The synthetic user is designed to consistently test application performance by accessing the application in the same way as a user would from the point at which a request is instigated to the point at which a response is received, including the network, application, active equipment and server performance. TeVISTA Enterprise PLUS provides the ability to capture packets historically and in real time with Expert analysis at source, meaning the network manager is able to interpret and resolve network problems quickly and easily. It also also automatically discovers and polls SNMP devices, allowing the user to collect network statistics and automatically generate trend reports. The network can be managed remotely via the windows client and JAVA Web consoles which also enable the user to export map topologies, trend statistics and event log entries to other databases.
