Integrated Security Systems, Inc. Announces B&B ARMR Road and Bridge Division Secures Second Largest Contract in Company's History.

Integrated Security Systems, Inc. (ISSI), (OTCBB:IZZI) today announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, B&B ARMR Corporation's Road and Bridge division has been selected to supply automated barrier gates and vehicle arresting barriers for the High Occupancy Vehicle Lane Slip Ramp Closure System in Houston. The contract, valued in excess of $1.2 million, is the second largest single contract award in the company's history.

The contract consists of furnishing B&B ARMR's SWP-7010 horizontal swing gates to be used at HOV approach and departure points with lengths ranging from 16 to 24 feet. This slip ramp system will provide automated opening and closing of the HOV lanes at the designated slip ramp locations. Also furnished in the contract are B&B ARMR's VL9900VAS, vehicle arresting barriers used to decelerate and stop errant vehicles.

The project will encompass portions of US290 (Northwest Freeway) at FM1960/SH6, US59 (Eastex and Southwest Freeways) at Quitman and West Airport Boulevard, and IH-45 (North Freeway) at FM1960 and IH-10. Product deliveries will be staged throughout calendar year '04 with project completion estimated at 18 months.
