Product Developments

Integrated Research has developed new application management products for the Compaq NonStop Himalaya environments, including PROGNOSIS HLR (Home Location Register) A database in a cellular system that contains all the subscribers within the provider's home service area. When a subscriber reaches a new service area, the data in the HLR is requested and transferred via SS7 to the VLR (Visitor Location  Manager, a high performance subscriber database for wireless providers, and PROGNOSIS MQ Manager for the management of IBM (International Business Machines Corporation, Armonk, NY, www.ibm.com) The world's largest computer company. IBM's product lines include the S/390 mainframes (zSeries), AS/400 midrange business systems (iSeries), RS/6000 workstations and servers (pSeries), Intel-based servers (xSeries) (R) MQSeries(TM) environments. These new products provide vital, in-depth real-time information and the necessary tools to help our customers ensure the highest possible application availability.

Additional cross-platform enhancements have been developed improving the manageability of applications, their components and supporting systems infrastructure across Windows, UNIX and Linux.

Integrated Research's Voice over IP (VoIP) software management solution, PROGNOSIS IP Telephony Manager has passed rigorous industry testing with outstanding results. IP Telephony Manager now holds three industry-leading accreditations: "Cisco Systems Verified", "IBM ServerProven(R)" and "CT Labs Tested".

Integrated Research continues its investment in its PROGNOSIS for Windows and UNIX products in preparation for a major new release in March 2002.

Alliances

Integrated Research joined the Hewlett-Packard Company Servicecontrol Manager partner program, which brings vendors together to deliver an integrated, central facilitation point for multi-operating systems management tools. Through integration with HP Servicecontrol manager, IR's PROGNOSIS product is able to deliver Linux manageability solutions. IR now has affiliations with major hardware suppliers and solution providers including Compaq, Hewlett-Packard Company, SUN Microsystems(R), EDS (Electronic Data Systems, Plano, TX, www.eds.com) Founded in 1962 by H.
