Integrated Circuit Systems Appoints Dr. Nam P. Suh to Its Board of Directors.

) today announced that Professor Nam P. Suh has been appointed to the company's Board of Directors.

Dr. Suh's appointment to the Board is expected to receive shareholder approval in November.

Dr. Suh is the head of the Mechanical Engineering Department and the Director of the Manufacturing Institute at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Massachusetts Institute of Technology, at Cambridge; coeducational; chartered 1861, opened 1865 in Boston, moved 1916. It has long been recognized as an outstanding technological institute and its Sloan School of Management has notable programs in business,  (MIT MIT - Massachusetts Institute of Technology ). Dr. Suh is a world-renowned authority on manufacturing technology and processes and was the founding director of the MIT Laboratory for Manufacturing and Productivity and is a member of the Engineering Council of MIT.

Dr. Suh is the author of more than 230 papers and four books on various topics such as Axiomatic Design and Tribophysics. He also holds over forty patents. Dr. Suh received his undergraduate degree from MIT and Doctorate from Carnigie Mellon University. Currently Dr. Suh serves on the Board of Directors for Trexel Inc., Silicon Valley Group Inc. and Axiom Design Software Inc.
