The INTEGRAL/ANTEK, GPS/CDPD antenna combines GPS and cellular capabilities into a single, small, lightweight package. The active GPS antenna uses patented technology that includes an integrated lower, low noise amplifier that enhances the antenna's sensitivity and coverage beyond that of passive antennas. The added gain also reduces the sensitivity requirement on the receiver allowing the antenna to be integrated with the most common receivers. The CDPD (Cellular Digital Packet Data) A low-speed, digital, wireless data network that is an enhancement to an existing analog cellular network. Based on IBM's CelluPlan II, CDPD provides a packet overlay onto the AMPS network and moves data at 19.  antenna operates in either the standard cellular 800-900Mhz or the CDPD bands, with gain and omni-directional coverage in virtually all locations. The patented design corresponds to wider zone coverage for the user, better quality of data transfer (fewer dropouts resulting in higher network access speed) and reduction in delays associated with link transfer from cell to cell.

In a 1998 analysis of the GPS marketplace, Frost and Sullivan (www.frost.com), a global leader in international marketing consulting and training, located in Mountianview, CA, segments the GPS marketplace into aviation, marine, military, timing and land-based applications. Land-based applications include automatic vehicle, inventory and people locating, and fleet management. A June 2000 F&S report reflected actual GPS revenues of $2.07 billion in 1999 and forecast revenues of $4.6 billion in 2006.

ANTEK is excited about the prospects of its GPS/CDPD antenna finding a prominent role in the burgeoning GPS land-based marketplace. Frost & Sullivan concluded, "explosive growth of GPS represents its acceptance as yet another given in the everyday lives of consumers. GPS capability will become synonymous with synonymous with
