"Fireman's Fund has departed from traditional industry practice by making sophisticated non-insurance products that indirectly result in lower loss experience available to our business clients," said Tom Alteri, product development director for Fireman's Fund Commercial Insurance. Alteri said: "We believe these two crucial services from Driver's Alert will constructively benefit the risk management among our prime customers. This is a whole new way of thinking in business insurance."

"The second service we're offering to this select set of Fireman's Fund iCustomers is our '1-800-How am I Driving?' program which monitors driver road performance and helps document unsafe acts," said Milazzo. "This service has been so effective that Driver's Alert guarantees a 10 percent reduction in a company's auto accident rate or a three times return on their investment with Drivers Alert or the business receives their money back. Fireman's Fund negotiated preferred pricing on this program for its iCustomers Series clients."

"From our focus group research, we know that our business customers want to hire dependable employees and become aware when their drivers are taking liberties in company vehicles," said Alteri. "So adding Driver's Alert to our potential deliverables improves the value-added quality to our iCustomer Series portal."
