Insurance brokers take 20,000 s/f for new HQ.


Cook, Hall & Hyde Inc., one of the nation's largest privately held insurance brokers, will move its headquarters from Bethpage, NY, to Melville, NY, in a deal arranged by tenant representation specialists, Paragon Group LLC (Logical Link Control) See "LANs" under data link protocol.

The insurance brokerage company, currently at 1211 Stewart Ave., Bethpage, has leased 20,000 s/f at 40 Marcus Dr., Melville, the entire top floor of the new, 50,000 s/f office building.

Paragon Principal Jerry Guerra, who last year completed a 10,000 s/f lease in the same building on behalf of another tenant, represented Cook, Hall & Hyde. The landlord, 50 Republic Road, LLC, whose principal is Itzhak Levi, was represented by Robert Godfrey Robert Godfrey is a minister in the United Reformed Church and the third President of Westminster Seminary California, where he is also Professor of Church History. He has taught at Westminster Seminary California since 1981 and has previously taught at Westminster Theological  and David Godfrey, both of CB Richard Ellis CB Richard Ellis Group, Inc. NYSE: CBG is a multinational real estate corporation currently based in Los Angeles, California, U.S.A.. On December 20, 2006, the corporation, also known as CBRE, completed acquisition of Trammell Crow Co. in a transaction valued at $2. .
