Instrument cassettes for sterilizing.

L&R Manufacturing's Instrument Delivery Cassette [(IDC).sup.TM] system, which organizes medical instruments for cleaning and sterilization sterilization

Any surgical procedure intended to end fertility permanently (see contraception). Such operations remove or interrupt the anatomical pathways through which the cells involved in fertilization travel (see reproductive system).
, helps protect medical professionals from accidental punctures and reduces the risk of cross-contamination. L&R has designed these cassettes for their Ultrasonic Cleaning Systems and to fit other machines of similar size.

The IDC system enables medical offices to process high volumes of critical instruments without directly handling them, making this the safest way to clean and sterilize sterilize /ster·i·lize/ (ster´i-liz)

Formation of vapour bubbles within a liquid at low-pressure regions that occur in places where the liquid has been accelerated to high velocities, as in the operation of centrifugal pumps, water turbines, and marine propellers.
. L&R offers two different size cassettes, a small 7-instrument cassette (for the Q140 and S200 systems) and a large 18-instrument cassette (for the S310 and S650 systems).

The electropolished finish of the cassettes resists stains and corrosion, while high-quality silicon rubber strips hold the instruments in place and will not harden or crack during autoclaving.
