Blitman, a consulting engineer and president of the Blitman Building Corporation, Mount Kisco, N.Y., was a graduate of RPI's Class of 1950, earning a degree in civil engineering. Over the past years, Blitman has remained active at RPI RPI - Rockwell Protocol Interface , serving recently as a member of the advisory board for the Department of Civil Engineering and the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences. "It's the school that gave me my start in my profession," said Blitman, whose father, Charles, graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institutein 1914.
