In March, Insignia in·sig·ni·a also in·sig·ne n. pl. insignia or in·sig·ni·as 1. A badge of office, rank, membership, or nationality; an emblem.
2. A distinguishing sign. Financial Group sold a 14 percent equity
interest in its residential real estate portal, EdificeRex, for $36
million, valuing the site at $250 million, of which Insignia holds a 51
percent share.
Insignia is using the money to expand EdificeRex to other cities -
the company already has contracts on 60,000 units in Los Angeles Los Angeles (lôs ăn`jələs, lŏs, ăn`jəlēz'), city (1990 pop. 3,485,398), seat of Los Angeles co., S Calif.; inc. 1850. - and
to create EdificeRex @ Work, which will be first introduced to 300
million sf repped by Insignia and its strategic partners.
