InsightExpress Promotes Laxmi Viswanath; Appointment Underscores Commitment to Quality.

STAMFORD, Conn. -- InsightExpress, a leading online market research firm, announced today the promotion of Laxmi Viswanath to the position of Software Quality Assurance Manager. Viswanath's promotion, which underscores InsightExpress' continued commitment to superior quality assurance, is effective immediately.

Led by Michael Queenan, the InsightExpress Product Operations team is responsible for the maintenance and support of web properties and custom research capabilities, the construction and enhancement of internal support tools and product features, and quality assurance. As Software Quality Assurance Manager, Viswanath will play a key role for this important team.

Viswanath joined InsightExpress as Quality Assurance Specialist in March 2005. In her new role, she will lead the company's quality assurance practices and procedures, and will also pursue ISO certifications on behalf of InsightExpress. Highly experienced in software development, maintenance, testing and support systems, Viswanath will lead a team dedicated to the continued improvement of the company's code quality and bug resolution times.

Prior to joining InsightExpress, Viswanath worked as a Senior Developer for the Ministry of Education Systems at National Computer Systems Pte. Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of the Singapore Telecommunications Group. Before that, she was a Senior Software Engineer at Computer Maintenance Corporation, one of the leading system integrators in India. She was also a faculty member in the Electronics & Computer Systems department at Maxwell Institute of Science and Technology in India.

Viswanath earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Telecommunications from University College of Engineering in Burla, India, and received a post graduate diploma in Computer Applications from NIIT, also in India. She received certification in Advanced Java Applications at Norwalk Community College in CT.
