Institute Names Vice-President, Government Affairs

The AICPA in March selected Mark Gardner Mark Gardner can refer to:

Regulatory Affairs professionals usually have responsibility for the following general areas:

AICPA Obtains Computer Security Discount for Members

The Institute selected Postini Inc. to offer members a service that will protect their systems against viruses and manage junk e-mail See spam. , also known as spare. The Institute uses this service on its own computers. Under the arrangement, AICPA members are eligible for a free trial and a 10% discount on the Postini service through December 31, 2005. Institute Offers Investment Advisory Resources

The AICPA extended its strategic relationship with Fidelity Investments Fidelity Investments is a group of privately held companies in the financial services industry. It is made up by two independent but closely cooperating companies, Fidelity Management and Research Corporation (FMR Co. , obtaining for members additional resources and support to establish or expand an investment advisory practice. Among the new benefits are low minimum asset requirements and discounts on marketing materials from PracticeMark, Fidelity's online marketing program. Under the arrangement, Fidelity will continue to offer members custody and clearing services, as well as access to a broad range of brokerage and investment products and services, advanced technology and practice-management support.
